History

 Margaret M. Seylar Elementary School is the multi-roomed elementary school that replaced the nine one-room schools in Hilltown Township.  In 1954, the school was named the Hilltown Township Elementary School.  In 1965 the school was renamed the Margaret M. Seylar Elementary School in honor of the Deep Run Valley School District’s first Elementary Supervisor.
